COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT work undertaken through the UEDG

To all of you who voted at Tesco's in Annan and Lockerbie, in the Tesco Bags of Help contest.

You helped us win £10,000!

Bags of Help offers community groups and projects in each of Tesco’s regions across the UK a share of revenue generated from the 5p charge levied on single-use carrier bags.
LATEST NEWS:  The play equipment will now be ready for delivery by April 11th., so if all goes well, we are hoping that it will be in place for an Opening Day on Saturday May 6th at 11am.  We shall confirm this nearer the time.  Watch this space!

This Playground in Eskdalemuir is not just about providing a fun and healthy place to be for local children, but for grown-ups too!  It’s not just for the young, but for the ‘young at heart’, as well as for those who want to keep healthy.  What we want is to provide a pleasant and fun place to be at the Community Hub for people living here but also families and children from outside the area.  They may be encouraged to come and live in the area and in our increasingly aged community we certainly need more children and young people!
